Who is Beetlejuice? One of the main characters of the 1988 horror-fantasy comedy film Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton. In the story, a couple who recently died in a car crash become ghosts trapped in their idyllic country house, haunting the place. Their home is sold to the Deetz family from New York, made up of Charles, a former real estate developer; his wife Delia, a sculptor; and their gothic teenage daughter Lydia. With her designer Otho, Delia plans to remodel the house. The ghost couple tries to scare the family but fails and hides in the attic.
